1 kHz detection system for femtosecond kinetics.

The system is based on photodiode detectors and a computer with powerful control and collection software capable of reading out two (sample and reference) diode arrays with 512 elements each at 1 kHz. If single wavelength detector is used the readout rate can be increased to at least 5 kHz. Most of the following pages are available in PDF format.

Experiments
  1. Single wavelength absorption kinetics.
  2. Single wavelength anisotropy kinetics. Both parallel and perpendicular polarisations are collected simultaneously.
  3. Multiwavelength absorption kinetics: the diode array collects a whole spectrum for each laser shot.
  4. Chirp corrected time resolved absorption spectra.
  5. Auto and cross correlation with pulse width measurements updated once per second.
  6. Collection of data for FROG and xFROG calculations.
  7. Optimization with pulse shaper.
  8. Others.
